Greetings Brethren,

I can’t believe we are already in May, this Year is just flying by. I hope you all have stocked up on your allergy meds as I know my eyes are burning like crazy from all the pollen. If I had to describe it, my eyes are burning like that scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. You know the one.

Last month was a great meeting where 2 of our brethren were honored with receiving their 50 Year service emblems. Thank you to all of our members who came out and made it a memorable experience.

Also, I cannot say this enough, thank you to all of our officers who are put so much time in learning their ritual and always come prepared. And I would be remised if I didn’t thank our fill-ins. We could not function without you.

For our Program for this month, I have invited the Boys from Northeast DeMolay to come out to our meeting. At the time of my writing this, I am not 100% sure if they will be able to attend as they may have a conflict. But not to worry, I have a backup plan in which I will be doing a short talk/presentation on Mother’s Day. We all have/know a mother in our lives and I think that we should make sure that we take the time to honor these women for the sacrifices that they made in their lives for us.

The Event has been posted for our next Masonic Fellowship Breakfast which will be Saturday May 10th at 9 AM at the Golden Eagle Diner. This breakfast we will be inviting our candidate, as well as any other men that you may know who is interested in learning more about Freemasonry. I will be bringing petitions and will have information available to help assist in answering any questions that they might have. We will discuss this in further detail at our stated meeting.

The lodge restoration program is in full swing. This is a means for us to bring back members who we have lost due to Non-Payment of dues. We likely all know a brother who has slipped through the cracks and inviting them back should be a priority for us all. We are running out of time on this one, so act fast!

Regarding Non-Payment of Dues, we still have quite a few members who have not yet paid for 2025. Please make sure you get you payments to the Secretary ASAP, so you do not lose out on your benefits of being a member. If you are having financial difficulties, please reach out to the Secretary. We would rather work with you than lose you!

Fraternally,

Kenneth B. Shinn Jr. PM
